Media lynching and other rotten cabbage.

(De linchamientos mediáticos y otras berzas podridas)

I would tell you that I forgive the title if was not because it is right, in its terms and metaphors. It is not new, but it took a season in which some media, certain persons and certain sectarian groups are dedicated to free hunting dissenting increasingly harder. When the target is a political exercise, do not appear to be differences between the modus operandi of some and other media, but when the harassment transcends society is almost always one color.

These days have been several cases that are clear examples. In the first, the EFE news agency manipulated a story about the bishop of Valladolid, Blázquez, to put in your mouth a criticism of the Deputy Prime Minister, Soraya Saenz de Santamaria, for marrying civilly. Other media quickly spread the news and it mounted a campaign against the bishop by the left and right, both on the Web and in the press.

The second case was a campaign organized by José Miguel Monzón Navarro, alias Gran Wyoming, on his TV show El Intermedio, against the journalist Hermann Tertsch. He asked his listeners which will outline a few days as followers of this, in Twitter, and then unsubscribe at a time. Although it is almost certain that such a Wyoming well knew that, those that they should make the case not be content to act only as onlookers peaceful. This has happened, including many pro-Castro and left several.

The third case is even more media by the political quality of the person. Francisco Camps, former president of Valencia, was indicted for alleged bribery, which would be the gift of a dress. After being investigated by the top and bottom, it seemed that was a lie, and so he understood the electorate re-elected by an absolute majority in May 2011. After resigning his charge, not to harm his political party, and held the trial, was acquitted by a majority vote of the jury. However, since the Left parties, from newspapers like El Pais and El Mundo, and from sections of the network, you are still accusing and harassing by those who claim to defend the Democratic Justice.

Those who join these virtual lynching, which some call human herd, remind us what the Cubans call euphemistically rallies or acts of repudiation. In them, police costumed citizens and Communist Party members, harass, insult, vex or physically attack political dissidents and persecuted in their own homes, sometimes for days. Simulate a spontaneous rejection of citizenship when it is only one of the repressive tactics of totalitarianism Castro.

Something similar happens in Spain with those who come to the judgments of Camps to insult, or those on the Internet to harass Hermann Tertsch. The latter, I have qualified as Wyoming's Wildlife, because they still have not gone to street violence. Although seen what happened with secularists provocations in the JMJ2011, any day could happen the same thing, and would not be a joke or an insult nor a mere mockery.
