That so-called "marriage".
(Eso que llaman “matrimonio”.)
These days that the Popular Party has been in Congress in Seville we have seen the attempt to drag the party's ideology to positions closer to the PSOE. The same people who wanted to remove the adjective Christian to the word Humanism recognizing the Statutes, who only got five votes in favor, tried to obtain a favorable attitude toward the so-called gay marriage. But in this second case settled the issue before the holding of the said Congress. We do not know if fear were also defeated.
What decided the party executive, —not its members, democratically— is not to decide anything. Apparently it was not wet before the Constitutional Court, but the reality seems to be another if we listen to the leaders of that party, when asked media supporters of the interests of the gay movement. The text adopted is clearly a favorable view of the current law, precisely because the justification of the decision is appealed to the arguments of those advocating such legal option: the alleged discrimination against homosexuals.
We may doubt what you really want the dome of PP: 1. - The high court declared unconstitutional the so-called gay marriage, 2. - To do the opposite or, 3. - Say, as the European Court of Human Rights, there is no reason to consider discriminatory marriage solely between man and woman. We may doubt, I say, but gender ideology has infected the heads of the party leaders in such a way that seems more reasonable to assume they want to leave the second option.
As the party executive has stolen the subject of congressional debates, the arguments do not know who could use a few months ago put in Las Cortes the constitutional challenge. Reasons and demonstrations are abundant to not fall into the mistake of equating marriage with union or cohabitation, homosexual. For social, physical, psychological and political reasons, against the so-called gay marriage, which seem to be ignored by those who promote it and, worse still, by many who are against it, or claim to be.
